Headshots for Yoav Ickowicz- Architect

August 12, 2011
Yoav Ickowicz is an Architect, Designer, and longtime resident of Toronto. He is currently enrolled in the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Toronto.
His most recent project, Backspace, is an investigation of a specific backyard typology common to the city of Toronto. It is a distinctly non-architectural project in that it proposes a minimal disruption and instead focuses on integration over intervention, empathy over objectivity, and universality over individuality.
Highlights from Yoav’s studio work, including his proposal for a new Faculty of Design building for the University of Toronto, as well as a proposal for Riverdale Park, will be on display at the Eric Arthur Gallery at 230 College Street during the months of September and October, 2011.
